Histotechnician Needed
The Trover Foundation would like to fill a histotechnician
position in Madisonville, Kentucky. This position is Full-time,
Non-Exempt, Benefited working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
High school graduate or GED with HT(ASCP) certification or eligibility.
Major job responsibilities in this position
include processing of tissue and body fluid specimens in such
a manner to prepare for examination by a pathologist. This position
is under the supervision of Bob Schacfer.

Half -Time Staff Technologist Clinical Senior (Histo)SM513142
Pathology
M-F 2:30pm- 6:30pm. Responsibilities include providing a variety
of histology procedures from routine H&E to special stains including
immunohistochemistry, working independently under the supervision
of several pathologists. Required to maintain all files, records,
documentation required by State and Federal. boards, maintain paperwork,
equipment, instruments, stock supplies for the services provided
by the Biospecimen Core. Minimum qualifications are Bachelors Degree
and three years related experience or the equivalent. Experience
with tissue micro array production & Lazer capture microdissection
desired.
