Kentucky
Society for Histotechnology Welcomes You!

The Kentucky Society for Histotechnology is a
non-profit organization established to foster communication and
education among the histotechnologists located at various institutions
around the state of Kentucky. Our bimonthly meetings held
regionally are designed to provide an ongoing educational program.
In addition a major symposium, including workshops, is held annually.
The program provides continuing education to histologists and pathologists
from hospitals and research laboratories. Our objective is
to improve standards in histopathology laboratories with up to date
methods and scientific advances in the field of histotechnology.
Our meetings supplement the educational effort of the National Society
for Histotechnology (NSH) that holds an annual national meeting.
Information on the NSH can be obtained directly from their website
and information on this year's annual meeting can be found on our
Meetings page.
